TO OUR GUESTS:

We’re glad you are here today! After the service, please look for our welcome center counter (under the “I am new here” sign in our lobby). Someone there will be happy to answer any questions you have about Hillside. We’d also love for you to fill out a connect card, so you can receive a welcome letter via email with more information.

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN:

Childcare is provided during the entire worship service for children birth-age 3.

Preschool-aged children go with their parents to the worship service and may leave for Kids Worship when announced.

Children in Kindergarten and up will remain in the worship service with their families during the summer months.

VBS OPPORTUNITIES:

VBS: Vacation Bible School BEGINS TOMORROW! God has provided gifted directors to lead the Bible story, games, crafts and teaching time, amazing crew leaders to lead their crews and build relationships, a FABULOUS facility, talented people to create sets, decorations, and videos and MANY helping hands to fill in where needed. We are unbelievably blessed and ready! These gifts are all answers to prayer. Would you commit to continue to pray for VBS throughout this week? We have the BEST NEWS EVER and ask for ears to hear and eyes to see Jesus!

HILLSIDE WEEKLYThe Hillside Weekly is now sent out on Wednesdays. If you didn’t receive it, please check your spam, then contact the church office.

CHURCHCENTER – Directory: Looking for a church directory? It’s now available on your ChurchCenter app! If you are on our email list, you should have received an invitation to opt into our directory a couple of weeks ago. As you peruse the list of information we encourage you to share as much as possible to promote good communication within our Hillside family. Don’t forget to add your picture – a selfie is perfect! A complete directory is so helpful – please get your contact info on today. It’s a secure site – only those in your Hillside family sent an invitation are able to see information.

Haven’t gotten the app yet?

1. Download the ChurchCenter app from the App Store or GooglePlay.

2. Follow the promptings until you find “Hillside Church” on the menu.

3. Enter your mobile number when it asks for it. If you are already a part of our church family, please use the same number that is already in our system. Enter the code that will be immediately texted to your phone. Since we already have your information, you will automatically be logged in as yourself. If you’re new to Hillside, just follow the promptings to create a new profile.

4. To add a picture to your profile, click on the circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Website: hillsidemn.churchcenter.com is available for all, especially if you do not have a smart phone for the app. Need help? Contact the church office during the week: 952-831-5050

HEALING PRAYER TIME: As a part of our July prayer and fasting, this Wednesday is our time of prayer for healing. It is led by our elders and will have the option of being anointed with oil according to James 5:14. You will have the opportunity to share your request with elders and a small group of people who will pray for you. It is a quiet, reflective, and encouraging time for you to ask for prayer for yourself or anyone else. It starts at 6:30pm with a time of worship, and will finish by 7:45pm, in time for the Town Hall meeting.

BAPTISM: Sunday, Aug. 7 will be a great opportunity to take the next step of faith – baptism. First, we’ll worship together at Hillside at 10:00am, either live inside the worship center, or live-stream on the lawn (don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket). After the service everyone is invited to Bush Lake. We will begin at 11:45am, shelter #3 where we’ll hear faith stories from those being baptized – then we’ll walk down to the beach. Finally, we’ll go back to shelter #3 and the shaded grounds surrounding it to enjoy picnic lunches (bring your own). There is a playground and volleyball area, and plenty of shaded grassy places. It will be a wonderful way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon! If you’re interested in being baptized indicate your interest on a Connect Card (QR code on inside page of this bulletin).
