HILLSIDE NEWS

FREE MINISTRY RESOURCESThere are free books and other ministry resources available on the conference room table today. Check it out and take whatever looks helpful to you!LAUNCH – Small Group

At Hillside we like to say that we are a church OF small groups, rather than a church WITH small groups. We consider our small group ministry a key component of our church ministry. Being in a small group is how we help each other follow Jesus. Everyone is invited to join! If you are interested in checking out what that could look like for you, we offer Launch – where you can experience a small group. Launch will meet in room 155, during the 9:15 worship service, Sept. 25-Nov. 6. Register at hillsidemn.org/smallgroups.

Childcare Information: Supervision is available for children age 4 – grade 6 during the first portion of the worship service (their regular classes do not begin until midway through the service). Children need to be registered when you register for Launch, and registered for their regular Sunday morning children’s class. Children birth – age 3 have childcare available during the entire service. You do not need to register them on the Launch form, but they must be registered for the nursery or their Sunday morning children’s class.

PRAYER FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM We are instructed in Psalm 122:6 to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, so that those who love God are secure and will prosper. Israel continues to be a place of conflict and turmoil on our world scene. We will come along-side the people of this nation and pray for God’s purposes on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 8:30 – 8:55am in the library. Let’s pray for peace!

NEW ATTENDERS LUNCH A lunch with our pastors and directors is offered to those who have started attending Hillside within the past few months. We’d like to give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about Hillside Church. The next lunch will be on Sept. 25, at 12:30pm in the cafeteria. Children are welcome! We hope you can join us. Register at hillsidemn.org/events or on the ChurchCenter app.
