Worship Leader

What are your job responsibilities?

Luke leads worship during our Sunday morning services and leads the mid-week worship team rehearsals.

How long have you worked at Hillside?

3.5 years

Tell us a little bit about your background:

I was born in Chicago and have lived in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida prior to moving to Minnesota. I was homeschooled (my mom taught all 11 of her children) and most of my work experience has been in industrial manufacturing and residential construction.

What are some favorite parts about your job and/or working at Hillside in general?

Playing music with my friends every week and worshiping with everyone on Sundays

Name a favorite passage of Scripture or book of the Bible, and why you like it.

James because it is so practical.

What are some of your hobbies?

Spending time with my wife and kids, traveling paddle boarding, and drinking espresso.

What are a few of your favorite things these days?

Music I’m listening to includes The Gettys, Matt Papa/Matt Boswell, & Shane and Shane.

Household/family info?

Wife, Joni, and three young kids. I also have 11 siblings.
