We are devoted to being a "house of prayer" where all things are done prayerfully and in dependence upon the Lord. We invite you to join us in the various kinds of prayer below in the hope of the promise of the Bible: "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14).

2026 Prayer Focus: Send Me!

Our theme for 2026 is “Send Me!” In Isaiah 6:8 we read, “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.’” This year, we desire to grow in obedience to God’s call on our lives and to discern wherever He may be sending us.

Prayer Initiatives Throughout the Year

Hillside observes several prayer initiatives and throughout the year invites the congregation to join for corporate or individual prayer times. These include:

  • Weekly "House of Prayer" meetings on Wednesday Nights (6:30-7:45P)
  • First Friday Prayer (24-Hour Prayer on the First Friday of every month)
  • Refresh: Month of Prayer & Fasting (each July)
  • January Week of Prayer
  • Drive-Thru Prayer
  • Women Praying for Prodigals
  • Collegiate Day of Prayer 
  • Prayer for the Persecuted Church 
  • Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem 
  • Sanctity of Life Sunday
